Suddenly, Father's cell phone rings and Ethan takes it from him. He looks at the cell phone and throws it to the wall.
Mother (tells Son): He's not responding, I don't like this at all
Son (worried): Mum, what do we do?
Mum: Call him with your phone
Son tries it but in vain. Mother decides to go to Gabriel's house with Son to look for Father. They get to the premises and see Father's car.
Son: Mum, I can hear some voices in that room
Still in Gabriel's house,
Father (pleads): Please let's take him to the hospital
Ethan (angry): Ah old man! Do you realize you are about to die? Don't you care for your life?
Father: I already have someone who does more than I do. If it's my time to go back to Him, it's not a problem
Ethan (laughs): You are such an irritating preacher. You are courageous though, I must confess, but that will not save you
Mum and son hear everything and calls the police.
A couple of minutes later, the police arrives just as Ethan is about to tie Father and force the poison down his throat.
Ethan: No, what have you done? You called the police?
Father is speechless as they all hear the squad's warning. Ethan, a little taken aback, points the gun to himself...

A shot is heard and the squad rushes into the apartment. Gabriel is seen groaning in pain while Father is on top of a near to death Ethan
Detective Kweku (to one of the officers): You, raise him up!
Father gets up stained of Ethan's blood. Ethan and Gabriel are rushed to the hospital as Mother and Son watch in fear for Father.
Father comes out unharmed and Mother hugs him so tight to herself.
Father (almost choked): Alright Honey, if you hold me like this for so long, I will be dead in no time
Mother (in tears): Don't ever do this to us again. We almost lost you
Father (smiles): I apologize, please forgive me
They hug once again while Son watches smiling.
Detective Kweku (to Father): You have to follow us to the office, sir
Father (nods in agreement): Alright officer
A couple of weeks later, Gabriel is released from the hospital with a bandaged arm. The doctors say it will need months to heal completely from the gunshot wound before trying to regain mobility.
Chandice is released and goes back home together with her husband.
Ethan is in jail awaiting trial for the murder of Amber and attempted murders of Father and Gabriel.
